Donation Processing Fees

Credit Card Processing Fee (2.9% + 30¢) + GivePulse Service Fee (1%) 

GivePulse uses a payment service called Stripe. Stripe charges a simple 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction and includes the credit card processing. Specifically, every donation that goes through GivePulse will leverage the Stripe payment platform and a GivePulse processing fee will be applied to it. GivePulse charges 1% for every donation. After the processing fees have been applied, we automatically credit the organization's remaining balance. e.g., if your group receives a donation of $100 from GivePulse, Stripe will charge 2.9% + 30¢ (a total of $3.20) and the GivePulse service fee will be $1 dollar. Note: For those who want to get wired the amounts instantly. We offer a way to process donations via Stripe connected accounts. This process is ~0.5% per transaction and is included in the GivePulse 1% to wire the money directly to your bank. For further information you can review this https://stripe.com/us/connect/pricing

What do we do with the 1% (technically 0.5%)? 

This will help GivePulse continue enhancing its infrastructure, feature set, it's donation fund and most importantly invest back into the communities and partners we serve.
