Why Choose GivePulse and Anthology Engage?
As a campus administrator, you’re likely juggling various systems to manage service events, student organizations, and volunteer impacts. The GivePulse and Anthology Engage integration allows you to eliminate redundancies, improve efficiency, and keep all your data synced across platforms — ultimately freeing up your time to focus on what really matters: fostering meaningful community engagement.
How Does It Work?
We’ve built out several powerful integrations between GivePulse and Anthology Engage, each tailored to specific needs. Here’s a quick overview of the key features and how they can transform the way you manage engagement at your institution:
1. Event Syncing for the Engage Service Tab
Easily sync events created in GivePulse directly with the Service Tab in Anthology Engage. This ensures that all your service activities are up-to-date and accessible across both platforms. Whether students are registering on GivePulse or Engage, the data stays in sync.

2. Impact Syncing
Impact data — like volunteer hours and service achievements — can now be shared effortlessly between GivePulse and Anthology Engage. With impact syncing, every hour logged on GivePulse is automatically reflected in Anthology Engage, giving you a comprehensive overview of your institution’s impact.

What Makes This Integration Essential?
The GivePulse-Anthology Engage integration isn’t just about syncing data — it’s about empowering institutions to create a cohesive, connected community engagement ecosystem. Here’s why this integration is a must-have for your campus:
- Effortless Data Management: Whether you’re tracking volunteer hours, managing service events, or overseeing student organizations, you’ll no longer need to manually update two separate systems. The integration does the work for you.
- Increased Student Engagement: With event syncing and easy registration, students can engage with your service programs more easily, increasing participation and satisfaction.
- Real-Time Impact Tracking: Keep tabs on how your students are making a difference in their communities with real-time impact data, synced across both platforms.
Simple Setup and Requirements
Getting started with these integrations is straightforward, but there are a few things to keep in mind:
- Access to Anthology API Keys: To take full advantage of advanced features like event syncing and membership tracking, you’ll need access to Anthology Engage’s API keys. Not all institutions have these keys readily available, but we’ll work with Anthology to get them set up if needed.
- Multiple Campus Support: Have multiple campuses using Anthology Engage? No problem. You can set up unique integrations for each campus, as long as they aren’t subgroups within GivePulse.
- Single Sign-On (SSO): For a seamless experience, your institution must use the same SSO provider for both Anthology and GivePulse. This ensures that students and staff can access both platforms without any hiccups.
- Caching Considerations: Be aware that Anthology Engage has a 10-minute caching delay, meaning that updates to events, groups, or impacts may take a few minutes to appear.
