Ticket Discounts: When selling tickets on GivePulse, you can now set up discount codes that when applied, can be used to discount the specific ticket or whole purchase order.
% Amount: Allows you to set up a percentage discount. This way, when people want to buy something from you, you can then allow them to apply a discount code where based on the total cost, a % of the amount will be discounted.
$ Amount: Allows you to set up a dollar amount discount. This way, when people want to buy or comp a specific ticket or item, you can allow them to apply a discount code where based on the code, the amount will be deducted or discounted from the total cost.
Tagging (Users, Events, Registrations, Impacts): Tags have been added into GivePulse about 3 years ago. However, what's new about the Tags is that no matter where you add the Tag, e.g., on the Users Management Page, on the Events Management Page, or even the Impacts Management Page, tags will follow through the different interactions within the page. e.g., If you decide to apply a Tag to a User, let's say, and you navigate then to Event - Registrations, you can configure the layout to search by the Tag or the User and see the association. For more information about adding tags, see our support article.
Recurring Events with Lock Codes: Many of our advanced admins leverage our capabilities to mass produce reoccurring events in one go (or setup) for ongoing volunteer signups and tasks that span weeks, months and years. Many instances, when you have a ton of recurring events happening, there are instances where you may want to make it completely public to a large group of volunteers but reserve a few recurring instances to those with a lock code. Note: Without this ability, many of our admins leverage our Group Registration and Reservation capabilities to block off spots, however, this doesn't take into consideration when there isn't necessarily a good idea of who and how many. To fill this one gap, creating a lock code for recurring events will cover 100% of the permutations available to support all types of scenarios.
Group Reservations:
GivePulse provides admins and group leaders to bulk reserve or register a large group. Many instances when the reservation is made, there needs to be a way to populate the individuals who are in the reservation. Originally, this was done manually, one by one, to streamline the process we incorporated a way to import a list of people (assuming the list exists already).
Performance, Performance, Performance: As GivePulse reaches new usage highs, we have and will continue to double down on improving the efficiency, performance and scalability of the platform. You will most likely be seeing more of these updates related to performance in many different aspects throughout the system.
