Set a Registration Open Date in your Event Registration Settings to have your future/upcoming events and volunteer opportunities listed. This allows you to publish events ahead of time rather than having to navigate back to draft events to publish them. Volunteers can easily see opportunities listed ahead of time and plan for when registration is open.
Classic View:
In Events or Volunteer Opportunities with No Shifts/Timeslot, you only have the choice of a Fixed date.
In all other Events or Volunteer Opportunities, you have the choice of Fixed or Relative Dates.
Fixed Date is a specific set date and time (e.g. November 19, 2018 at 9am)
Relative Date is a specified amount of time before the event occurrence date (e.g. 14 days before the event occurrence date)
Example Use:
- Volunteer Fairs: Have your events ready and loaded for viewing when your organization attends student or public volunteer fairs and recruiting events.
- Annual Events: For that annual signature event such as a Holiday drive or dinner, you can publish events ahead of time with a Registration Open Date as you are finalizing planning details.
New View:
When creating the event you will need to pick the Event Type and the Frequency.
During the Event creation flow, you will land on the Registration Settings after the Basic Info and Details have been completed.
*This feature is not currently available for Fundraisers and Ticketed Events.
