In addition to managing hours and resources donated, your organization may wish to track and manage engagement with short- or long-term projects. With project-based events, you can:
- Create and track milestones
- Indicate skills needed for the project
- Mark whether the project can be completed virtually/remotely
- Track and communicate with registrants
- View and share your project's progress
First, name your project and indicate whether the project is virtual/remote and include a conferencing link or use our integration option if applicable.
Next, select "Project" as the event type and fill out the rest of your project's details.
In order to publish, you will be prompted to fill out "Milestones" for the event.
You can fill out information including start and end date, description, and address, as well as indicating whether the individual milestone should be locked/hidden (with access granted by admins). You can also ask registration and impact questions for each individual milestone, allowing you to track data specific to each milestone in the project.
Once you have filled out information about the project, you will be able to publish. From the published page, users can register and can view additional details, including the Project Plan:
As with other event types, you can manage the event from your event dashboard.
