Inviting Community Partners to Join Via Your Subdomain
The easiest way to invite a new community partners to join GivePulse and affiliate with your institution's page is by using your unique institution's subdomain followed by givepulse.com/join.
For example, Washington State University uses their unique subdomain to invite new community partners to GivePulse (wsu.givepulse.com/join). This page allows the community partner to create an individual user account and a group for their non-profit organization (NPO). Additionally, the user has the option to create their first event on this new page.
Once all details are completed, click Continue. The next screen will display the institution's affiliation application for the NPO group. Each institution can create a customized affiliation application to collect any information about the NPO requesting to affiliate. The user can complete this application to connect their group with the institution.
Once the affiliate application is submitted, the institution's administrator(s) can review and approve the affiliation to connect the two groups on GivePulse.
