How to Create and Publish an Event
When creating events, the admin has the ability to create a variety of event types, such as single day, recurring, and open opportunity (to learn more, you can go here). These events can be published or placed in unpublished status (draft mode). Draft mode allows you to further refine or update the event’s details and decide to publish at a later time.
How to Access & Manage Events in Your Network
From the admin dashboard, navigate to Events > Manage Events. The Manage Events grid displays all events within the group you are viewing. On this page, you can select the Gear icon next to an event on the list to access its specific event dashboard.
Clicking the Actions dropdown menu on an event will display a couple of different action items. You can edit the event, publish the event, duplicate the event, and more.
How to Manage Affiliate Events
You can choose to show, hide, or promote certain events from your affiliates. From the Manage Events grid, select Affiliate Events in the tab list.
This new tab will display all affiliate events currently being shared with the group you are managing. Navigate to the Actions dropdown menu. From here, you can choose to toggle she sharing permissions of specific events from your affiliate.
Note: Private events are not listed for affiliates
How to Manage Event Data & Run an Event Report
Admins can easily download a report for individual events. From the Manage Events grid, navigate to the Actions dropdown menu and select Download Report. This will generate a CSV file with data from your event.
An export can also be made that summarizes all events within your network. To do this, navigate to the Actions button in the top-right corner, then select Export.
Using XML, RSS, iCal, or FootPrint for Events
Navigate to Manage Events from your Group Admin Dashboard and scroll to the bottom. You'll see the four options:
