What is Mobile Clock-In/Out?
You can now print Mobile Clock-In/Out QR codes to make event sign-in faster and easier for users. These QR codes allow participants to quickly access the event in the mobile app and clock in or out without searching for the event manually.
Where to find the Clock-In QR code for QR Code Scan
The Clock-In/Out QR code is always available from the Event Dashboard. To access it:
Select the blue Manage button on the left side of the event page.
Choose Dashboard from the menu.
Locate Clock-In QR, which appears in the upper-right area of the dashboard.
How to enable or disable the QR code
You can turn the Clock-In QR code on or off during event creation or while editing an existing event:
Navigate to Impact Settings.
Select the Mobile tab.
Find the dropdown labeled “Allow volunteers to self clock in/out using the mobile app.”
Choose Enable to activate the QR code or Disable to turn it off.
This setting controls whether the QR code is active for the event.
What happens when users scan the QR code
If the QR code is available:
Scanning the code opens the event page in the GivePulse mobile app, where users can clock in and submit their impact.
