You can use Custom Fields to create Registration and Impact Questions for events. This is how you can implement pre and post-assessment questions within your course on GivePulse.
This article covers:
Registration Questions
With this feature, you can request information from each user who registers for your event. Registration Questions are found in the edit section of any event.
You can build a questionnaire to ask things like, “Did you complete the training for this opportunity?” or more open-ended things like “Please describe your past experience working with animals”. All you need to do is drag and drop the question type into the field and change the information present.
Lookup Field on Registration Questions - Our Dropdown Field on Registration Questions lets you set the dropdown options dynamically through a new configuration option called Lookup. You can use the Lookup field to help registrants select from User Courses, User Instructors, Group Members, and Internships.
Configuring User Courses will generate a list of courses that the registrant is enrolled in, so students will see their respective courses.
Configuring User Instructors will generate a list of instructors from the registrant's respective courses.
Configuring Group Members will generate a list of group members from a specified group.
Selecting Internships will generate a list of public internships displayed on your group's home page, including your affiliate's internships that are publically viewable on your page.
Keep in mind that the list of options will only be visible when you are answering the registration question during the registration process.
Impact Questions
With this feature, you can request information from each user who creates an impact for your event. This is great for collecting feedback from users. Impact Questions are found in the Edit Event > Impact Form.
You can ask users to upload documents, such as presentations or field notes and can ask them in-depth questions about their experience as well. As with Registration Questions, you just drag and drop the question type into the field and change the information present.
User Course lookup field
The Dropdown | Multiselect field in our form builder also has a "Lookup" field for "User Courses." This auto-populate students' respective courses as their dropdown options.
When students respond to this dropdown, they will only be able to select from their prepopulated courses.
