Cancel or Update Payment For Recurring Gift

Users have the ability to update the payment information or cancel a recurring donation gift through GivePulse.

Recurring Gift Frequencies

When you donate to an Open Opportunity fundraiser you are given the option to make a one-time donation or extend your giving by contributing on a regular basis. The frequency options are as follows:

• Weekly
• Monthly
• Quarterly
• Annually

How to Cancel or Update Payment for a Recurring Gift

Navigate to User Dashboard >Activity> Donations in the Top Navigation Bar.

On the Donations page, you will see a list of your current donations as well as your recurring donations. Click on the Donation to see its details or to cancel your recurring donation,

On the payment details screen, click Actions to either cancel your subscription or update your payment method.

How to Cancel a Recurring Membership Subscription

1. Click Log In in the upper-right corner and sign in with your email and password.
2. Once logged in, open Activity and select Donations.
3. Click the Subscriptions tab to view your recurring memberships. Select the subscription you want to cancel.
4. Click the blue Actions button and choose Cancel.
5. Confirm that you want to cancel the recurring subscription.
6. Return to Activity → Donations → Subscriptions to verify the status shows Cancelled. You will also receive a confirmation email.
