To receive payments through your GivePulse page via fundraisers or ticketed events, start by connecting your bank account. We work with Stripe as our primary payment processor. Read more about Stripe's privacy policies here. Users may also connect existing Authorize.net accounts (contact donations@givepulse.com to learn more).
From your group dashboard, go to the Payments tab on the bottom left and click Bank Settings.
On this page, you'll be required to fill out information for the type of account you hold, the legal country your organization or business is established in, account holder name, bank routing and account numbers and your preferred currency.
Once you've filled in this information, click Connect with Stripe to complete additional information needed to verify your account and organization with Stripe. This will temporarily navigate you out of givepulse.com.
Fill out the required information and submit to navigate back to givepulse.com. Your account will take a few minutes to validate. Once you see the confirmation message below in your Bank Settings, you'll be able to receive payments via fundraisers or ticketed events. Please note that the Donate button will not appear on your GivePulse group page until you create a fundraising event. Click here to learn how to create an ongoing fundraiser.
You can view payout status by navigating to Payments > Manage Payout. For payouts with a Failed status, check your bank account information to ensure it is correct or contact donations@givepulse.com for further assistance.
Platform + Processing Fees
Donations:
GivePulse Service Fee (0.5% per donation) We charge the end user a small handling charge for the ticket.
Credit Card Processing Fee (3.4% + 30¢) We use a payment service called Stripe. Stripe charges a simple 2.9% + 30¢ plus an additional ~0.5% for Stripe connected accounts per transaction and includes the credit card processing. Users may also donate via ACH payments with lower fees of 1.3% per transaction with a max of $5. Read more about how users can set up ACH payments here.
Tickets:
No Service Fee for Free Tickets If the cost of the ticket is free, there is no service fee.
