How to Use the Calendar to Self-Select Shifts
When registering for an event with timeslots, volunteers will have the option to self-select from available times within the event. Volunteers can click on a white space within the calendar to select a timeslot.
Once a timeslot is selected, volunteers can also click the bottom of the timeslot and drag their mouse down the calendar to extend the time they want to claim.
Additionally, users have the option to use the text fields on the right-side of the screen to confirm the date and time selected. Once the correct timeslots have been chosen, volunteers will answer registration questions, agree to any waivers/liability forms, and then confirm their registration.
How to Set Up Repeating Shifts
Volunteers wishing to register for the same timeslot regularly can set up repeating shifts when registering. After selecting the shift from the calendar, toggle the Repeat setting to expose additional fields to toggle.
Volunteers can toggle the repeating shift daily, weekly, or monthly. Additionally, volunteers can toggle when the repeating shift ends, after a certain number of occurrences, or on a specific date.
Note: If a user selects a repeating shift, but one of the shifts in the repeating sequence is full, they will not be able to register for that specific shift.
How to Cancel a Singular Shift
Volunteers can easily cancel a shift if they will no longer be able to attend. To do this, navigate back to the event's registration calendar. Select the shift to cancel. A pop-up window will appear asking for confirmation to cancel the shift.
Once confirmed, the registration will be canceled.
