Our number one priority -- and our company mission -- is to empower every individual to lift their community to new heights. We want to connect volunteers and donors to the organizations that need their help. Because of this, we do not delete group pages. You do not need to have a fully active page for this to drive volunteers and donors to your site! Adding a photo, description, admin, and link to your active website means that the millions of users (volunteers and donors) who use GivePulse to find organizations in their area will be able to access your organization. Because of this, the more information you have, the more likely it is that they will find your organization and be directed to wherever you host volunteer opportunities and donations.
If, however, you still do not want to populate your group page, that is completely fine! We can remove your admin access. If users find your site page, they will not see your admin information and may choose to instead engage with an alternative organization. However, being listed on GivePulse offers accreditation for volunteers and donors to recognize your organization as a legitimate nonprofit. This is, legally, a matter of public record. Because of this, we keep this information available in order to ensure that our volunteers receive the most accurate information possible
