Blackbaud Raiser's Edge Integration

By setting up the GivePulse Raiser’s Edge integration, you will be able to view high level GivePulse volunteer/donor data in your Raiser’s Edge’s NXT constituent records.

If desired, you can also automatically create new constituents whenever someone:

• Joins your GivePulse group
• Registers to one of your events
• Records their volunteer hours
• Donates to your group

The integration links GivePulse Users to Raiser’s Edge’s Constituents via their email address. If a GivePulse user’s email is not found in Raisers Edge, then a new constituent will be created (if you have enabled that setting in GivePulse).

The integration is one way (GivePulse to Raiser’s Edge) and will only update a handful of custom fields that you must set up (details below). We do not overwrite or change any of the existing data in Raiser’s Edge.

GivePulse data is sent to Raiser’s Edge in realtime as users interact with your group on GivePulse via the Raiser’s Edge API. Note that Raiser’s edge has some delay in displaying new data in NXT vs the Database view, but that data will appear in NXT after a few minutes.

There is also a one time sync ability when you first enable the integration that will map all your existing GivePulse users to existing Raiser’s Edge constituents (and optionally create new constituents). This will send all of the custom field data for those constituents.
