How to Record a Timesheet
Users can take the following steps to record a Timesheet Impact.
- Start by adding an impact from the group, event, or user dashboard.
- Within the Add Impact workflow, select “Switch to Timesheet.”
- From there, you’ll be able to, add a title for the timesheet, enter the associated dates and times, and description of activities.
- Next, set the verifier either by, writing them in manually, or selecting them from the available list, depending on how the event is configured.
- Once completed, continue through the workflow by filling out the remaining default and custom questions as prompted.
The guide below provides a step-by-step tutorial with images:
GivePulse Pro Tip: Each individual line entry within a timesheet is limited to and cannot exceed a maximum of 24 hours.
After filling out the the form, you have two options for saving or submitting your timesheet:
- Save Draft - If you intend to add more timesheet entries to this timesheet, click this button to save the timesheet, but not submit it.
- Add Impact - If you have added all entries and completed all other requirements in the impact, click this button to submit it and wait for verification.
Recording & Reviewing Timesheet Drafts
Timesheets can be saved as drafts, giving users the flexibility to update their timesheets periodically and submit them all at once when ready.
To save a timesheet as a draft, users can select the Draft button within the impact workflow. This will save the timesheet without submitting it.
GivePulse Pro Tip: Timesheet drafts remain available for up to 90 days and the expiration period resets each time the draft is updated. Users can view the current draft expiration date by navigating to their User Impact Dashboard.
