Admins can create events with timeslots, which allows volunteers to self-select the timeframe they want to volunteer.
Note: Admins can only create events with timeslots in Classic View at this time. Learn how to switch between New and Classic Views here.

How to Create an Event with Timeslots
From the Group Admin Dashboard, click Events > Add Event. Select Multiday or Open Opportunity event types. Then, select Timeslots in the next dropdown menu.
Once the above is set up, you will notice the following settings appear, specifically the start/end times section:
If you decide to customize specific dates of the week that are open or closed you can select the "Specific days of the week" selector and see the following:
How to Toggle Timeslot Duration & Number of Volunteers Per Timeslot
With timeslots, users can self-select the length of their volunteer commitment. Admins can toggle what the minimum length of a shift has to be in order for the volunteer to create it. To toggle this, you can toggle Slot Duration to their desired minimum length. Additionally, you can toggle how many volunteers can overlap at one time using the Max People Per Slot setting.
