Deep Dive on Events with Timeslots

Admins can create events with timeslots, which allows volunteers to self-select the timeframe they want to volunteer.

How to Create an Event with Timeslots

Timeslot Event Specific Settings

Timeslot events have unique settings that you can toggle to customize your event:

• Slot Duration: Determine the minimum slot time a volunteer can sign up for.
• Max People Per Slot: Determine the number of volunteers that can overlap at any given time.
• Max People Per Day: Determine the number of volunteers that can sign up per day.
• Exclude Certain Dates: Choose dates to exclude the registrations options, such as holidays.

Managing Registrations

When viewing registrations, the Manage Registrations page will display the slot that the user has registered for under the Start date/End date fields. You can sort by these fields to view registrations by slot. 

From here, you can manage registrations in the same way as a single-time event. For more information on managing registrations, visit our article View Registrations as an Admin.

Additionally, you can manage registrations from the event's Public Page. You can view Registrations by clicking on the registration from the calendar. When you click on the slot, you will be able to see how many slots have been take up, and who has registered. 

You can cancel the registration from this view as well. 

1. Click on the Registration Slot.
2. Click on the Registrant's Name.
3. Click Cancel this Registration.
4. There Will Be a Screen Confirming the Cancellation.
