At the end of an academic semester, you can easily close terms and courses to preserve data in your network.
This article covers the following:
How to Close a Term
When a term is marked as completed, all of the courses in that term will be marked as completed (closed) and students will no longer be able to join them. Users will still be able to see classes and any impacts they made.
From the group admin dashboard, navigate to Academia > Terms.
Click on the name of the term you want to toggle. On the new page, scroll down to settings. In this section, you can toggle the term's visibility and it's completion status.
How to Close a Class
If you don't want to close a whole term, you can close individual classes.
From the group admin dashboard, navigate to Academia > Manage Classes.
Navigate to the Actions dropdown menu on the grid next to the course. Select Close, Mark as Completed to close the class.
Note: Even after this class is marked as closed, the classes will still be visible to students allowing them to have access to their impacts associated with the class. If you need to completely delete a course, please reach out to us at support@givepulse.com.
