If you are the administrator of a group, you will likely need to verify impacts to confirm that the information the volunteers have provided is accurate. As an administrator, you are able to see information about whether or not individual impacts in your group are verified by going to your "Manage Impacts" page from the group dashboard.
Impact verification is necessary to confirm attendance, verify the duration of the volunteer activity, or affirm the amount of the donation. In many instances, verification is necessary for school grading purposes, badging, certification, or fiscal grants. Even if none of these reasons apply, verification provides a clear record of whether the data compiled in the system is valid.
Right now, there are multiple verification workflows. (If a user has made an impact that you do not believe should be verified, you are also able to dispute it; please see this article for more information about the different impact statuses).
Administrators can verify via email when they receive an email notification informing them that an impact has been made.
Administrators cab verify via the GivePulse Mobile app when they sign in or clock in/ clock out their participants.
Administrators can verify via the group's Manage Impacts page in order to dispute, bulk verify, and view the impacts (recommended for the most information about each impact). To do so, the administrator logs in to their group page, clicks the blue "Manage" button, and clicks "Impacts" > "Manage Impacts" from the left-hand menu.
The administrator can click the checkbox on the top row to select all, go to the "Bulk Actions" box, and then click "Verify Selected"
The administrator can also go to Manage > Impacts, click the far-right dropdown menu under "Actions" for each individual and choose to verify, dispute, or view the details of the impact.

When an impact is verified, the individual who made the impact is notified.
Note: when setting up the platform for your organization's needs, you can customize how you would like to collect impacts. Some of these customizations require certain subscription tiers. You can contact GivePulse support if you would like more information about subscribing to a higher tier.
